INVITATIONS
CALL FOR PAPERS: Special Issue on Multi-agent Systems: Modeling, Control, and Applications, International Journal of Information & Systems Sciences
Multi-agent systems modeling and control arise in such diverse application areas as autonomous vehicle coordination, distributed computing, sensor networking, and air traffic flow management, among many others. Central problems in this modeling and control subject are typically network dynamics and decentralized control. In the past decade, multi-agent systems have attracted increasing attention and gained significant progress, with some successful applications. However, numerous theoretical and technical challenges still remain, which must be addressed satisfactorily in order to build efficient multi-agent systems for broader applications. This special issue aims to present some most recent developments and contributions in this field. Topics of interests include (but are not limited to):
- Multi-agent systems modeling
- Multi-agent system algorithms
- Multi-agent systems consensus
- Multi-agent systems control
- Flocking and swarming
- Sensor networks
- Agent-based complex networks
- Collective behaviors of multi-agent systems
All manuscripts should be received by Any One of the Guest Editors by 1 September 2008, in double-spaced, single-column, one-sided, pdf format generated by latex, which will be subject to peer review as usual.
