PUBLICATION NEWS Appointment of New Editors-in-Chief I am pleased to inform you that the Selection Committee, appointed by the President, made the selection of the Editors-in-Chief (EiCs) for succeeding the ones whose term is ending on December 31. The incoming EiCs are: IEEE Circuits and Systems Magazine: Guanrong Chen IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I Regular Papers: Gianluca Setti IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II Express Briefs: Un-Ku Moon IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology: Chang Wen Chen All the appointed EiCs have accepted and are now working with the selection Committee for appointing their Deputy Editors. As you know it is foreseen an overlap period with the out-coming EiCs for ensuring a smooth transition. Please, be prepared to work with the new appointed EiCs for the necessary support and training period. I assume that the overlap period can start in September and I encourage the present EiCs and the appointed ones to begin talking to each other as soon as possible. I am so pleased to see that very qualified and widely recognized colleagues accepted to serve our community in an important and relevant role. I am also pleased to see that the journals are in good shape so that the initial situation for the new EiCs is, in general, very good. Thanks to all of you!
